The FXC620R ceiling speaker features a traditional 3/8″ mounting flange, but by using a thin aluminium material instead of plastic, the speakers provides a flush mounted look – a preferred visual for many clients. The FXC620R, small-format loudspeakers feature a coaxially mounted 0.75″ aluminium dome tweeter design over a proprietary high-excursion 6.5″ woofer. The FXC line was inspired by the successful SXC in-ceiling speakers, and intended for smaller spaces like kitchens, bathrooms and hallways where a James SA Series speaker is not needed. These speakers are enhanced when paired with a James subwoofer such as the QXC10S or QXC8S. All woofers are James designed with aluminium cones and santoprene surrounds to allow marine use while maintaining the highest quality sound. The enclosure is constructed with aircraft grade 5052 aluminium and includes a round white paintable aluminium grille.
